Test Your AI
AI Playground lets you test the chatbot with real AI processing without sending messages to WhatsApp customers. Playground access depends on your subscription plan.
Open AI Playground
- Open Chatbots and select your chatbot.
- Choose AI Playground.
- Turn on Enable Playground if it is not already enabled.
The sidebar mode control changes from Live Mode to Playground Mode. Changes saved while you are in Playground Mode remain in an unpublished draft until you publish them.
Run Realistic Tests
Test the complete customer journey, not only one question:

| Business details | Prices, hours, policies, and product information are correct. |
| Missing information | AI admits when the answer is unavailable instead of inventing it. |
| Language and tone | Replies follow your configured language, style, and constraints. |
| Closing flow | AI collects the intended information and leads to the correct next step. |
| Memory | Customer details are stored and recalled only when appropriate. |
| Knowledge | Text and PDF knowledge is used in the right situations. |
| Actions and tools | Labels, handoff, follow-ups, and connected tools trigger correctly. |
You can also send supported media and voice messages to test image and voice understanding.
Use the Debug Tools
Open the event timeline on an AI response to inspect knowledge retrieval, tool usage, AI actions, confidence checks, and available timing information.
If a response is wrong:
- Identify whether the issue came from training, knowledge, a rule, or a tool.
- Update the draft configuration.
- Clear the conversation or memory if you need a clean test.
- Repeat the same scenario.
Share a Test
Click Share to create an external testing invitation. A recipient can test the chatbot in a browser without access to your ReplyLa account. Invitation limits depend on your plan.
Review Before Publishing
When testing is complete, review the unpublished-draft summary. Publish only after every listed change is ready for live customers.
The Playground banner shows whether testing is free, discounted, or charged at the normal token rate for your account.
