Connect Device
Connect a new WhatsApp number through ReplyLa's setup wizard.
Start the Connection
- Click Device Manager in the left sidebar.
- Click Add Device and choose WhatsApp.
- Answer Which one is your number today?
A Brand-New Number
ReplyLa uses Cloud API for a number that has never had WhatsApp:
- Prepare an active number that can receive SMS or calls.
- Sign in to Meta Business, or create an account during setup.
- Click Continue - Connect new number.
- Complete Meta's embedded signup and verify the number.
Connected to WA Business App
ReplyLa uses Coexistence so you can keep the official WhatsApp Business app connected:
- Update the WhatsApp Business app to the latest version.
- Sign in to Meta Business.
- Be ready to scan a QR code with the Business app.
- Click Continue - Connect existing number and complete Meta's prompts.
Use the WhatsApp Business app for viewing only after connecting. Send replies through ReplyLa Inbox so the AI retains the complete conversation context.
Connected to Other Software
ReplyLa first shows a migration checklist:
- Turn off two-step verification for the number.
- Disconnect the old provider in WhatsApp Manager.
- Tick both confirmations.
- Click Move my number and complete Meta's setup.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Meta setup did not open | Allow pop-ups for ReplyLa and click Continue again. |
| Phone verification is not working | Check that the number can receive SMS or calls and that the country code is correct. |
| Number is linked to another provider | Go back and choose Connected to other software, then complete the migration checklist. |
| Device limit reached | Upgrade your plan or remove an unused device before adding another. |
| Device remains disconnected | Open the device details, review the connection status, and retry the setup. |
After Connecting
Open your chatbot's General Settings, link the device, save, and test it in AI Playground.
