Step-by-step guide to connecting a new WhatsApp device to ReplyLa.
How To Connect a New Device
- Click Device Manager on the left sidebar.
- Click Create Device (the + button).
- Enter a Device Name (e.g., "Main WhatsApp", "Sales Line").
- Choose a Connection Type:
Option A: Cloud API (Recommended)
- Select Cloud API.
- Click Create Device.
- A Facebook login window will appear (Embedded Signup).
- Log in with your Facebook account.
- Select or create a WhatsApp Business Account.
- Verify your phone number.
- Once verified, device status shows Connected.
Option B: Meta Coexistence
- Select Meta Coexistence.
- Click Create Device.
- Follow the instructions to link your phone.
- Your device will connect and show a Connected status.
Option C: Manual Configuration
- Select Manual Configuration.
- Click Create Device.
- Enter your custom credentials and configuration.
- Click Save.
After Connecting
- Go to your chatbot's General Settings.
- Link this device to your chatbot.
- Your chatbot will start receiving and replying to messages.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Facebook Signup failed | Make sure you're logged into the right Facebook account. Try incognito window. |
| Phone verification not working | Check that the number isn't already registered with another provider. |
| Device stuck on "Pending" | Wait a few minutes. If stuck for 10+ minutes, try creating a new device. |
| Quality Rating shows "Low" | Make sure your messages are relevant and not spammy. |
Cloud API is the most reliable option for automation. You can upload a profile picture (avatar) for your device to help identify it.
Common Questions
For Cloud API, yes - it uses Meta's (Facebook) setup process. For Manual Configuration, no.
It's best to use a dedicated business number. If you connect a personal number, it will be converted to a Business account.
Choose Meta Coexistence if you want to use both. Or switch fully to Cloud API for the best ReplyLa experience.
